But the way the monsters "break out" and Slappy "broke out" the rest of the monsters, and eventually they were all put back in containment, it felt like I was watching Jurassic World. It didn't feel like a Goosebumps story.
Sure, I'm not saying I won't watch the sequel that may come out in three to thirty years. It's just I feel like the story was much to big. Usually, with the series, it's just one monster per episode. But in this one, it's every monster! That's how it feels like all of the dinosaurs breaking out from their enclosures in Jurassic Park or Jurassic World.
Overall, I would give this film a 7.5 out of ten rating. Like I said, it was a good movie to sit down and eat some popcorn while watching, but it just didn't feel like Goosebumps.
